SEEN Pathway to Purchase

A quick guide to the different ways to purchase SEEN products for your mobile equipment

How to Buy / Pathway to Purchase

Purchase

As the owner of SEEN sensors, you’ll have the option to move them from forklift to forklift, or transfer them to a new forklift fleet from another supplier.

Purchase from your forklift supplier

Your forklift supplier can supply, install, and support SEEN sensors for a one-off capital expense.

Purchase from SEEN

SEEN can directly supply and support your SEEN sensors, but you’ll need to arrange installation with your forklift supplier or service team.

Rental

Adding SEEN sensors to your forklift rental agreement will replace the upfront capital cost with a monthly operational expense.

Add to a new forklift rental agreement

Your forklift supplier can include SEEN sensors in your new machine rental agreement for a small monthly premium. This is often the simplest and most cost-effective option since factory-installation is cheaper than retro-fitting. Timing is important because it needs to be requested as part of your new fleet rental agreement.

Variation on an existing forklift rental agreement

Your forklift supplier can add SEEN sensors as a variation to your existing rental agreement. The cost of SEEN sensors and their retrofit installation cost can be spread across the remaining rental contract period. This will require a contract variation for each machine, and the shorter the remaining contract period is, the higher the monthly premium will be.

Direct finance to own or rent

If you’re part-way through an OEM rental contract and a variation is not practical, third-party finance or rental may be a solution. This will allow the cost of the sensors to be spread over a fixed 3-5 year term, and gives you freedom to move the sensors to new forklifts if needed. Talk to SEEN about the options. Note that installation costs are generally not included.
