SEEN Product Safety and Limitations:
IMPORTANT. While SEEN sensors enhance operational awareness and can assist machine operators in making safer decisions, they are not a substitute for comprehensive operator training or adherence to established safety procedures. The responsibility for the safe operation of the equipment remains solely with the operator. It is important to note that no detection system can guarantee 100% accuracy. In regions where machinery safety standards such as ANSI B11.26 Control Reliability, IEC 62061 Safety of machinery and ISO 13849-1 Safety of machinery are mandatory, IRIS 860 sensors can be used to provide operator assistance but must not be used to actively control machine safety functions.
