TRUST CENTRE

Privacy and data handling

SEEN Insight helps customers review workplace safety events. When providing SEEN Insight, SEEN Safety processes customer personal information to deliver, secure, and support the service in accordance with the customer's instructions and the applicable agreement.

The service may process:

  • user account and contact information;

  • authentication and service-usage data;

  • safety-event images, video, and associated metadata; and

  • support and security records.

Safety-event images and video may include identifiable people. Customers are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws, identifying an appropriate lawful basis for collecting and using personal information, providing any required privacy or workplace-monitoring notices, obtaining consent where required by law, and using the service in accordance with their agreement.

Customer data is retained according to the applicable retention settings and the SEEN Insight Terms of Use. Customers may contact support@seensafety.com with questions about the retention that applies to their data or to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or export.

Where a customer controls the relevant personal information, an individual seeking to exercise data-protection rights should normally contact that customer. SEEN Safety will assist the customer and respond to specific retention or deletion requests as required by applicable data-protection law and the applicable agreement. Requests remain subject to appropriate identity and authority verification, and to any lawful retention requirement, legal hold, or applicable backup-expiry process.

Before SEEN Safety creates, changes, or deletes customer data in response to a request, the request must be authorised by an existing SEEN Insight administrator for the relevant customer account or site, or by another person whose authority SEEN Safety can independently verify. Customer data is not disclosed in response to an email or support request. Access to or export of customer data is provided through the normal authenticated SEEN Insight service, unless another disclosure is required by law and the recipient's identity and authority have been appropriately verified. Privacy enquiries may be sent to privacy@seensafety.com.

AI model improvement

In accordance with the SEEN Insight Terms of Use, SEEN Safety may use still images from safety events to train, test, validate, and improve its in-house event-classification models. Customers may opt out at any time by contacting support@seensafety.com. Event videos are not used for model improvement unless separately agreed with the customer.

Security

SEEN Insight is hosted using Amazon Web Services. The service is designed with layered safeguards, including encrypted communications, access controls, multi-factor authentication, web-application protections, logging, vulnerability management, and security testing.

Customers may request additional security and privacy information from privacy@seensafety.com. Detailed material is provided where appropriate and may require a confidentiality agreement.
