The SEEN System delivers unparalleled effectiveness in monitoring and reducing pedestrian-collision risk—while offering lower complexity and cost than many alternative solutions.
The system is comprised of two core products, the patented IRIS 860 sensor, and the IRIS-i camera. Depending on your operating environment and machine type, a variety of accessories may also be needed (see below).
IRIS 860 SENSOR
The workhorse of the SEEN System, the IRIS 860 sensor uses infrared laser technology to detect retroreflective tape on high‑visibility workwear and markers—delivering reliable, real-time detection. Learn more
IRIS-i CAMERA
The IRIS-i camera completes the SEEN System by capturing visual evidence for every detection and securely uploading it to SEEN Insight via the mobile IoT network. Learn more
IRIS 860 Sensor Accessories
The Setup Dongle uses Bluetooth to link SEEN’s free Sensor Setup App with the IRIS sensor, allowing configuration via your Android or iOS device. It requires power from a USB power bank (not included).
Setup Dongle
Extend the lifespan of your sensor in outdoor applications with our Weather Shield. This powder-coated aluminum cover guards against rain, heat, and UV—ensuring long-term durability.
Weather Shield
The Cab Box transmits the IRIS 860 sensor’s audible alert directly to the driver’s cab. Required for enclosed-cabin machinery, each unit supports up to four IRIS 860 sensors—or two full systems (sensor and IRIS-i camera pairs).
Cab Box
Connects a Cab Box (where used) to each sensor. Available in 5/10/15/20 metre lengths.
Cab Box Sensor Cable
The Cable Adaptor connects the Setup Dongle directly to the Cab Box sensor cable, allowing sensor settings to be adjusted conveniently from inside the machine’s cab.
Cable Adapter
The Accessory Cable plugs into the sensor’s accessory port and outputs an electrical signal whenever a detection occurs. This enables seamless integration with third-party systems, such as alarms, lights, or other automation tools.

Dealer Demo Pack
The Buzzer Cap lowers the sensor’s alert volume from 94 dB to 80 dB (at 1 m). Install it when the reduced-volume setting on the sensor alone isn’t sufficient for your environment.
