It’s People, Not Sensors, That Keep People Safe

We constantly see people looking for a silver bullet to their safety challenges.  Driven by a desire to keep people safe, Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) leaders, along with their and Operations leaders colleagues look to implement controls that will save people.

This is good, and to be encouraged.

What we also see is that rigorous real world training in the use of safety controls, and how to leverage data to change culture, can significantly move the safety needle.

Site-Based Training That Reflects Your Real Risks

The most effective safety learning rarely happens in a classroom. This is especially true for hands-on workers like MHE operators, who often learn best when they can see and experience training in the context of their own job, fleet, and environment.

We built our training approach around this truth. We help teams understand — in real time and on their own site — how IRIS 860 sensors and the AI-assisted SEEN Insight platform work together to reduce risk in their operating conditions, not a theoretical one.

How SEEN delivers real-world training

It starts with toolbox talks.  When you first implement your SEEN system, we will help you deliver an onsite toolbox talk with your operators and other relevant team members.  They will learn what SEEN does, and importantly doesn’t do, and how to leverage the real time system to help protect both people and critical assets.

Your EHS and Operations team then work with our Customer Success team using live data from your site. We walk you through actual detection events, show ways to interpret and act on incident trends, and help configure alerts and reporting around your operational safety thresholds.

Building confident system users

Because training is based on your own fleet movement, layouts and behaviours, operators quickly connect cause and effect. They see how their actions generate alerts. Safety leaders learn how to interpret SEEN Insight data and take action on the trends that truly matter. This creates confident, capable users who can use data to make better decisions.

Besides the reliable sensor detection, SEEN Safety’s dashboard monitoring (SEEN Insight) allows us to easily analyze data.

Why it works

Customers that train this way consistently see:

  • Faster adoption

  • Stronger frontline engagement

  • Safety teams using AI-assisted SEEN Insight, to make evidence based safety decisions

  • And ultimately, better safety outcomes

When people understand how to use the system in their context, the outcomes are more relatable and actionable.

What you need to do

You can deploy SEEN yourself — it’s designed to be simple, effective and affordable.  However, clients report dramatically greater value — and a much shorter time to value — when they partner with our Customer Success team.
